Hua Guo has a range of experience in various roles related to data science and machine learning. They most recently worked as a Data Scientist at Vio.com (Formerly FindHotel) starting in February 2022. Prior to that, Hua worked at Meituan as an Algorithm Engineer (Machine Learning Scientist) from May 2020 to July 2021. Hua also had a role as an Algorithm Engineer (Machine Learning Scientist) at JJ.cn from July 2018 to April 2020, where they collaborated with the product team on problem definition, implemented machine learning solutions, and worked on projects such as poker AI and text spam classification. Hua's earlier experience includes an internship at CAEP Software Center for High Performance Numerical Simulation in July 2017, where they conducted benchmark experiments to validate a transport code called JMCT.

Hua Guo has a strong education background in nuclear engineering and technology. They obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nuclear Engineering and Technology from Harbin Engineering University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015.

Afterward, Hua pursued further studies in the field of nuclear energy engineering. They earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nuclear Energy and Nuclear Technique Engineering from Tsinghua University, studying from 2015 to 2018. Simultaneously, they also pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nuclear Energy Engineering from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, attending the program from 2016 to 2018.

Hua has also augmented their education with numerous certifications. They completed various courses and programs in machine learning, data science, and data visualization from institutions such as Udacity, Coursera, and Dataquest.io. Notable certifications include the Machine Learning DevOps Engineer Nanodegree Program from Udacity, obtained in August 2022, and several relevant courses in machine learning and data visualization achieved in November 2017.
