Jussi Mustonen began their work experience as a Software Developer at TJ Group in 2000 and then moved on to work as a Software Developer at Talent Code in 2001. In 2002, they joined Mobisoft Oy as a Software Developer and worked there until 2004. Then, they worked as a Software Developer at Capnova Oy from 2004 to 2005, followed by a role as a Software Developer at Ementor Finland in 2005. Jussi then joined Enfo in 2006 as a Software Developer and later worked at Innofactor as a Software Engineer in 2007. Jussi then transitioned to Alma Media Interactive Oy in 2007, where they worked as a Software Engineer and took on project management tasks. In 2009, they joined Alma Mediapartners Oy and took on the role of Systems Specialist / Architect, working on an internal portal upgrade project and later becoming the Technology lead for Vuokraovi.com. Jussi then became a Project Manager at Alma Mediapartners Oy, responsible for project management and customer relations in several custom-built Java web applications. In 2014, Jussi joined Vincit as a Passionate Software Professional, working on a team to implement a new custom webshop and internal administration tools for a client.

Jussi Mustonen obtained their MSc degree in Software Engineering from Tampere University of Technology from 1997 to 2010. In April 2010, they also obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance.
