Trevor Salato, M.S., is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in various roles within the police force and investigative units. Since January 2015, Trevor has served as a Police Sergeant and Public Servant with the Village of Deerfield, where responsibilities have included detective work. Additionally, Trevor has been an Investigator with the U.S. Secret Service since February 2019 and has contributed to the Illinois ICAC Task Force and the Lake County Major Crime Task Force. Previous roles include Principal Probation Officer for Lake County from May 2008 to January 2015. Academically, Trevor holds a Master's degree in Homeland Security/Emergency Management from Arkansas Tech University, an Associate degree in Computer Forensics from the College of Lake County, and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Northern Michigan University.
