Ola Mohajer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international affairs, conflict resolution, and policy development. Currently serving as Founder at Transcend since July 2023, Ola also holds the position of Senior Program Officer at the United States Institute of Peace, where responsibilities include overseeing programs related to Sudan and South Sudan since April 2019. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Policy Advisor for International Trade Strategy and Senior Business Advisor & Ministry Lead for Open Government at the Ontario Public Service, along with consultancy at Better Work and research assistance at Columbia University. Ola's professional journey began with a coordination role at the United Nations and has included positions at United Way of Calgary and the University of Calgary Students' Union. Ola holds a Master of International Affairs focused on Economic and Political Development from Columbia University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Biological Science and Religious Studies from the University of Calgary.
