Cathy Kuang started their work experience in 2013 as a Graphic Design Intern at Tyndall Design. In 2014, they worked as a Math and Reading Instructor at Kumon. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Business Development Intern at LaunchCode and a Video Production and Product Marketing Intern at KiraKira. In 2017, they served as a District Manager Intern at ALDI USA. In 2018, Cathy joined NetSuite as an Associate Consultant, and later in 2021, they were promoted to Staff Consultant. Their responsibilities at NetSuite included guiding clients through ERP and E-Commerce implementations, advising on business process solutions, and leading E-Commerce integrations with ERP systems. Currently, they are working as a Marketing Manager at Village Marketing.

Cathy Kuang completed their Bachelor's degree in Marketing with a minor in Computer Science at Washington University in St. Louis from 2014 to 2018. In 2017, they undertook a study abroad program at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business. Before their university studies, they attended Acton-Boxborough Regional High School from 2010 to 2014.

Additionally, Cathy has obtained certifications in NetSuite Certified Administrator from NetSuite in June 2020 and Wilderness First Aid from NOLS in June 2016.

In 2021, they enrolled in General Assembly, but no specific degree or field of study information is provided for this period.
