Dave Gullo has been working in the tech industry since 1998. Dave started as the Founder of snowboards-for-sale.com, where they developed custom LAMP software and implemented features such as a mannequin shopping assistant, specialized CRM platform, unified messaging, CRM-integrated web-based live chat service, and more. In 2003, they became the Lead Web Application Engineer at Adicio, where they were responsible for the company's ecommerce, enterprise accounting, sales reporting, and product management systems. In 2009, they joined Thales Avionics as a Principal Software Engineer, where they developed web-based applications and graphical user interfaces for the IFE industry. In 2011, they became a Principal Software Engineer at Krux, where they were responsible for architecture and development of web applications, data pipelines, browser plugins and automation, and tools. In 2013, they founded CLI, an agility-first development group composed of seasoned engineers, designers, and user-experience practitioners. In 2014, they became a Co-founder, Chief Technical Officer at VideoAmp, where they scaled the engineering org from 0 to 65 Engineers, Software Developers, and Data Scientists. Dave also became a Member of the LA CTO Forum. In 2019, they became the Co-Founder and CEO of Videate, a software video company.
Dave Gullo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology from California State University, Chico between 1994 and 1998. Dave also holds two certifications from the Scrum Alliance, a Certified Scrum Developer obtained in March 2014 and a Certified Scrum Master obtained in January 2014.
