Haeri Choi is a QC Scientist at VGXI, Inc. since January 2022, specializing in GMP Plasmid DNA Manufacturing with responsibilities including troubleshooting assay performances, improving QC methods, and training QC technicians. Previously, as a Scientist at Oregon Health and Science University from April 2016 to June 2021, Choi contributed to research on gestational diabetes mellitus and its impact on global metabolic dysfunction. During the postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington from 2012 to 2015, significant work was conducted on microbiome-mediated starvation signals promoting longevity. Choi's background includes a Ph.D. and M.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Seoul National University, as well as a patent for restoration of cellular senescence and contributions to scholarly publications, including a book chapter on telomere length adjustments.
