Katherine Chumack is an experienced professional in veterinary care and environmental management. Currently serving as a Veterinary Assistant at Veterinary Care Specialists since January 2015, Katherine previously coordinated volunteer efforts at North Oakland Headwaters Land Conservancy, where responsibilities included administrative tasks, property inspections, and leading stewardship activities. Katherine also worked as a Natural Resources Technician at Oakland County Parks and Recreation, focusing on invasive species monitoring and habitat restoration. Earlier experiences include a Graduate Assistantship at Michigan State University's Forest Soils Lab, where Katherine managed field data collection and lab sample preparation, and an internship with the Michigan DNR, gaining hands-on experience in forestry and wildlife management. Katherine holds a Master of Science in Forest Ecology from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Oakland University.
