Hoda Rajabi

Scientist, Next Generation Sequencing at Verve Therapeutics

Hoda Rajabi is a scientist, next generation sequencing at Verve Therapeutics. She is a molecular biologist, with over 8 years of experience in a variety of different research laboratories. Prior to joining Verve, she worked as a laboratory scientist at eDNAtec (the first center for environmental genomics application in the world), where she led multiple projects on optimizing and executing NGS-related workflows on environmental samples. She holds a BSc. in cellular and molecular biology from Azad University in Iran, and an MSc. in Human Genetics, from the Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada. Her Master’s thesis, which was to design, optimize and validate a panel to detect patients with a form of a hereditary macular degeneration disease (STGD1), had a significant role in better diagnosis of patients in the population of Newfoundland and Labrador.
