Yigal Shoshan has extensive experience in neurosurgery, currently serving as Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery and Senior Neurosurgeon at Hadassah Medical Center since 1999. Additionally, Yigal Shoshan holds the position of President of the Israeli Neurosurgical Society with the Israel Medical Association since 2017, overseeing the education program for neurosurgical residents. Previous roles include Clinical Fellow at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, focusing on LINAC-Based Radiosurgery, and at Cleveland Clinic, specializing in Surgical Neuro-Oncology and Gamma Knife Radiosurgery. Education includes a Research Fellowship in Molecular Genetics of Brain Tumors and Molecular Biology at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
