Suning Wang is a Senior Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals with experience in developing and optimizing T cell gene editing and manufacturing platforms. Prior to that, Suning worked as a Senior Manager at Kite Pharma and as a Senior Research Scientist at Merck. Suning's previous roles include positions at Northwestern University, University of South Carolina, and Nanjing University where they conducted research, performed analytical testing, and optimized procedures in the fields of molecular biology, biochemistry, and bioinorganic chemistry. With a Ph.D. in Bioinorganic Chemistry, Molecular Biology, and Microbiology, Suning has a strong academic background and extensive experience in various analytical techniques and research methodologies.
