Jose Lora currently serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at hC Bioscience, Inc. since September 2023. Prior to this role, Jose held the position of Chief Scientific Officer at Intergalactic Therapeutics from April 2021 to September 2023, and at enGene from June 2019 to April 2021. Jose has extensive experience in leadership roles within the biotechnology sector, including Vice President positions at Synlogic, Inc. and Seres Therapeutics, and multiple senior leadership roles at Constellation Pharmaceuticals, GlaxoSmithKline, Roche Palo Alto, and Millennium Pharmaceuticals. Jose's educational background includes a B.Sc. from Universidad de Sevilla, a Ph.D. from Universidad de Sevilla, and postdoctoral studies at Brown University and the University of Utah.
