Humphrey Shen is a seasoned executive in the pharmaceutical quality sector, currently serving as Senior VP and Head of Global Quality at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since September 2020, focusing on small molecules and cell & genetic therapies. Previously, Shen held various leadership roles at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, including Vice President of Global Quality for Biologics, Vaccines & Advanced Therapy, overseeing a network responsible for over $22 billion in revenue, and served as Executive VP of Global Quality at Crucell. Shen's extensive experience also includes positions at Amgen as Executive Director Quality, Roche as Head of Quality, and F. Hoffmann-La Roche, where responsibilities encompassed global quality initiatives and compliance across multiple operational sites. Academic credentials include a BS in Chemistry from UCLA and an MBA from Golden Gate University.
