Ye Ni has a varied work experience starting in 2014, where they worked as a Web Designer and Web Developer at Intershell International Corp. Here, they gathered and organized content, updated content through a Content Management System (CMS), and designed and developed web pages using HTML and CSS.

In 2015, Ye Ni joined Goldman Sachs as a Java Server Side Developer. In this role, they used UML for developing Use Cases and Sequence Diagrams, fixed defects, troubleshooted issues on UNIX environment, and wrote Shell scripts for automation.

In 2016, Ye Ni worked at Cisco as a Java, Python, Erlang Network Developer. They developed new packages on top of the Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO) and the Cisco Intelligent WAN (IWAN).

Finally, in 2018, Ye Ni joined Versa Networks as a Software Engineer. They developed software using high-level languages like Java, Python, and C. They also used RDBMS, Apache Solr search engine, Spring Boot, JAX-RS, Kafka messaging system, and Restful web services to implement the Network Management System for Versa Networks. They also used multi-threading for optimizing router and switch deployment and utilized GIT as a source and version control tool.

Ye Ni earned a Master's degree in Information System Programming from Northeastern University between 2012 and 2014.
