Pavel Babiy is a seasoned data engineering professional with a robust background in developing and optimizing data pipelines and systems. Currently serving as a Data Engineer at Lusha.com since April 2021, Pavel has significantly advanced the company's infrastructure through technologies such as Spark, Airflow, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Databricks. Previously, as a Big Data Developer at units from August 2018 to April 2021, Pavel designed and enhanced data processing for billions of events daily utilizing Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. A former Senior Software Engineer with Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200, Pavel developed sophisticated data processing solutions and a virtualization engine. Pavel also accumulated extensive software development experience across public institutions and private companies, contributing to diverse projects from real estate taxation systems to advanced medical equipment. Pavel holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Hadassah Academic College and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Jerusalem College of Engineering.
