Brian Smith is a co-founder of Verogy since January 2018, bringing extensive experience in renewable energy and finance. Prior to Verogy, Smith worked at Greenskies Renewable Energy LLC in roles related to contracts, finance, and asset management from November 2013 to January 2018. Additional experience includes a position as a temporary assistant clerk at Hartford Superior Court and roles as a student mediator and legal extern at UConn Law Mediation Clinic and Bingham McCutchen, respectively. Earlier career stages featured legal internships at GE and the Connecticut Urban Legal Initiative, as well as a role as a senior learning specialist at Fidelity Investments. Smith holds a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and a B.S. in Business Administration from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, along with coursework at Leiden University.
