Jay Shan is a Software Engineer Technical Lead at Verily, focusing on machine learning infrastructure for the Precision Health Platform. Previously, Jay was the Founder and ML Engineer at IE3A Inc., where Jay developed and deployed a smart-manufacturing AI/ML software platform. With experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UC Santa Barbara, Jay has a strong background in machine learning applications and digital design fundamentals. Jay's research and development work at GLOBALFOUNDRIES and NXP Semiconductors demonstrate their expertise in data mining, statistical analysis, and visualization tools. Jay holds a PhD in Computer Engineering, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree from UC Santa Barbara.
