Krzysztof Drzyzga

CEO, co-owner at Verestro

Krzysztof Drzyzga has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Krzysztof started their career as a Management Trainee at Bank Millennium in 2002 and went on to work as a Junior Manager in various positions, including being the Chief of the Innovation Center and being involved in the strategic project "Retail Refoundation" at the bank.

In 2005, they joined Bank Zachodni WBK as the Partners and External Sales Networks Cooperation Manager. Krzysztof was responsible for developing business with potential bank partners, focusing on the distribution of credit cards, cash loans, and mortgage loans.

In 2006, Krzysztof joined MasterCard Europe as the New Business Development Manager for the CEE Region. Krzysztof then moved on to Mastercard in 2010, where they became the Head of Innovative Product Development for the CEE Region. Their role involved developing innovative projects and products for Mastercard in Poland and the Central and Eastern Europe region, with a special focus on new customers, contactless payments, mobile payments, eCommerce, and payment innovations.

In 2015, Krzysztof ventured into entrepreneurship and co-founded several companies, including Verestro and uPaid, Quicko, Fenige, Ideo, mSchool, GoPay. Krzysztof held the role of CEO and co-owner at Verestro and International Business Development and Co-owner at the other companies. Their responsibilities included managing the companies and driving international business development initiatives.

Krzysztof's work experience demonstrates their expertise in business development, product development, strategic planning, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Krzysztof Drzyzga pursued their education at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, where they obtained a Master's degree in International Relations from 1997 to 2002. Afterward, they went on to further their studies at the same institution and completed Ph.D. Studies in Management between 2009 and 2012.
