Marit Stark is an accomplished event organizer with a strong background in fundraising and relationship management within the arts sector. Currently serving as Evenementorganisator Cirkels at Vereniging Rembrandt since October 2022, Marit focuses on thanking major donors for their contributions to public art in the Netherlands. Prior to this role, Marit worked at Huis van de Nijmeegse Geschiedenis from September 2021 to February 2023, contributing to the institution's patronage policy through initiatives targeting both individuals and businesses. Marit's experience also includes serving as Chair and Treasurer at Kunsthistorische Kring Nijmegen from August 2019 to August 2022, where COVID-19 posed unique challenges. Additionally, Marit completed a transformative internship at Mauritshuis in 2019, supporting various departments and realizing a long-held dream of working in a museum environment. Marit holds a Bachelor's degree in Art History, Criticism, and Preservation from Radboud University, complemented by a prior focus on Biology.
