Lyuben Penkovski has over 15 years of professional experience in software development. In 2004, they began their career as a Junior Software Developer and Test Engineer at Datapark Inc. In 2006, they worked as a Software Validation Engineer at Johnson Controls Automotive and a Software Developer and Support Engineer/System Analyst at Mobiltel. In 2012, they became an Android Developer at Flipps Media, and in 2014 they were a JavaScript Developer at Mobile Wave Solutions. In 2017, they joined Chaos Group as a Backend Engineer, where they worked on the development of Chaos Cloud, a microservices rendering platform for V-Ray. In 2020, they became a Software Architect at Scalefocus, and in 2021 they were appointed as Lead Backend Developer at Vereign AG | Authentic Communication.

Lyuben Penkovski obtained a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Ruse between 2001 and 2005. Lyuben then went on to earn an MSc in Distributed Systems and Mobile Technologies from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski between 2007 and 2009. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Security & Identity Fundamentals from Qwiklabs in December 2018, GCP Essentials from Qwiklabs in June 2018, and Cryptography I from Coursera in April 2015.
