Maria Bloch has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Maria began their career at Oak Hill Elementary, where they worked as a Teacher Assistant, assisting students with English reading and writing skills. Maria also worked as a Linguistic Tutor at St. Cloud State University, organizing subject material and revising English course papers.

Maria gained experience in customer service as a Sales Associate and Cashier at both Manea's Meats and St. Cloud Hospital, where they operated the cash register, took orders, and provided excellent customer service. At CentraCare, they worked as a Customer Contact Representative II, answering calls and functioning as a security dispatch.

In the legal field, Maria worked as a Legal Transcriptionist/ Legal Proofreader at Verbit.ai, where they transcribed and proofread legal audio files. Maria also served as a Graduate Assistant at Hofstra University, assisting with filing, computer use, and organizing conferences. As an Intern at Hofstra, they worked with a team of linguists to transcribe and analyze language evidence in criminal cases.

Most recently, Maria worked as a Public Defender Legal Secretary at the State of Minnesota Board of Public Defense - Seventh Judicial District. In this role, they opened and closed criminal case files, assembled hard and electronic files, and transcribed audio to assist attorneys.

Throughout their work experience, Maria has demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in various professional settings.

Maria Bloch completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from St. Cloud State University in 2015, with an emphasis in Linguistics. Prior to that, in 2012, they attended St. Cloud Technical and Community College as a Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) Student. Additionally, Maria pursued further education and earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Forensic Linguistics from Hofstra University, which they completed in 2016.
