Micael Aamann has a diverse and extensive work experience in the water technologies industry. Micael has held various roles at Veolia Water Technologies, including Director for Projects & Innovation in VWT Europe Techno Delivery and Services, Chief Operating Officer (COO) for VWT Europe Techno Delivery and Services, Procurement Director Europe, and Executive Project Management Officer Europe. Additionally, they served as the Director of Engineering Asia-Pacific, where they managed a team of 100 engineers across 8 countries and oversaw projects totaling 100 mEUR annually. Aamann has also worked at Krüger A/S, where they held positions such as General Manager Biosolids, Manager at Krüger A/S Design Build Competence Centre, Department Manager Design Build, Deputy Department Manager, Project Manager, Site Manager, and Proposal Manager. Micael'sroles at Krüger A/S involved overseeing the execution of projects, managing departments and employees, evaluating and managing project risks, and implementing new technologies in the water and wastewater industry. Additionally, Aamann has been a Member of the Supervisory Board at Veolia Water Technologies sp. z o.o.

Micael Aamann completed their high school education at Virum Gymnasium from 1987 to 1989. Micael then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology at the DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 1990 to 1997. In addition, they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (1. part) from Copenhagen Business School in 1994 to 1995, focusing on Business Economics.
