Vats Srinivasan has worked in the tech industry since 1999. Vats began their career at Alchemy Semiconductor as an Engineer. In 2000, they moved to Intel Corporation as a Sr. Design Engineer. From 2005 to 2009, they were a Technical Lead at RMI Corp. Vats then joined Veloce Technologies as a Distinguished Engineer in 2009. In 2015, they became a Consulting Member of Technical Staff at Oracle. In 2017, they were promoted to Technical Director at NXP Semiconductors. Since 2019, they have been a Principal Engineer at Ventana Micro Systems.

Vats Srinivasan is currently attending The University of Texas at Austin.
