Jennifer Newman is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in brand strategy and organizational communications. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Advisor and Communications Director at VELOZ since February 2022, Jennifer previously held the position of Senior Director of Organizational Communications and Brand Strategy at the California Medical Association from January 2018 to January 2022. Jennifer has a strong entrepreneurial background as the founder and podcast host of Creating Your Own Path, which included writing and self-publishing a book. Additional experience includes roles as a freelance writer and editor at Comstock's magazine and Winning Edits, among other positions in marketing and communications. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Business Administration from California State University-Sacramento.
