Doria Fan has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Starting in 1994, they worked as a Product Engineer at Ford Motor Company before transitioning to a Process Engineer role at Applied Materials in 1995. In 2001, Doria joined KPMG UK as a Lead Designer. From 1997 to 2006, they worked as a Design & User Experience Consultant. They then joined New York University as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Researcher in the Interactive Telecommunications Program from 2006 to 2007. Following that, Doria became the Founding Designer at outside.in in 2007 and then worked as a Senior Interaction Designer at frog design from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2021, Doria operated their own company, Doria Fan, LLC, as a Product Design & User Experience Consultant. In 2021, they joined Wayfair in a Design Leadership role until 2023. Currently, Doria holds the position of VP of Experience Design at VaxCare.
Doria Fan has obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Stanford University in the fields of B.A. Art and B.S. Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, they have completed a MPS degree in the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University. The exact start and end dates for both educational experiences are not specified.
