Cooper Hennick

Staff Life Support Systems Engineer at Vast

Cooper Hennick is a highly skilled engineer in the aerospace field, currently serving as a Staff Life Support Systems Engineer and previously as a Senior ECLSS Engineer at VAST since June 2023. Hennick's experience includes leadership roles at ABL Space Systems as Lead Components and Mechanisms Engineer and at SpaceX as a Propulsion Components Engineer. An intern at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Hennick contributed to the vibration testing and validation of cryogenic systems for the James Webb Space Telescope. Hennick also holds a strong research background with projects at UW-Madison focused on high-temperature superconducting magnets and laser-based micromanufacturing techniques at the Bremen Institute for Applied Beam Technology. Hennick earned a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
