Vea Ricaborda, CPA, CISA, CC, is an accomplished IT auditor with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as an Associate Manager at Vasquez + Company LLP since November 2020, Vea is actively involved in various IT audits, focusing on IT general controls and application controls through a risk-based methodology. Prior experience includes a role as IT Internal Auditor at San Miguel Corporation from July 2018 to November 2020, where Vea conducted comprehensive IT audits covering critical SAP domains and vulnerability assessments. Vea began the career at EY from November 2016 to May 2018, leading significant projects such as SOX 404 compliance and IT general controls testing for major clients in the oil, gas, and telecommunications sectors. Vea holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Santo Tomas and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Colegio de San Juan de Letran.
