Kristofer Stone is an experienced avionics engineer with a strong background in electrical design and analysis. Currently employed at Varda Space Industries since November 2021, Kristofer has contributed to the development of in-space manufacturing capsules and various vehicle systems. Prior experience includes roles at Boeing, where Kristofer specialized in electrical harness design, and leadership positions at Rocksat-X, overseeing small satellite payload projects. Additional internships at SpaceX and NASA provided hands-on experience in avionics production, integration, and additive manufacturing. Kristofer holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a focus on Space Systems from Virginia Tech and an Associate of Science from Piedmont Virginia Community College.
