Alyssa M. Garcia is an accomplished educational leader with a diverse background in fostering college-going culture and enhancing student experiences. Currently serving as the Manager of College-Going Culture at the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools since October 2023, Alyssa has previously held significant roles including Dean of Students and School Culture at Valley Charter Schools and Director of Education and Programs at Las Fotos Project, where responsibilities also included Program Manager and Teaching Artist. Alyssa's educational credentials include an Executive MBA from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Learning from California State University, Los Angeles, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Sciences from Citrus College and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from California State University, Long Beach.
