Francisco Rodrigues is an experienced engineering and project manager with a strong background in overseeing large-scale projects, primarily in the mining and engineering sectors. Since May 2012, Francisco has been with Vale, serving as Engineering Manager, Equipment Manager, and Project Manager, overseeing projects with a CAPEX exceeding US$ 3.4 billion. Notably, Francisco managed the S11D project with a CAPEX of over US$ 500 million and led the implementation of the first truckless system in Vale's mines. Prior to Vale, Francisco worked at USIMINAS as Project Manager and Engineering Coordinator, managing mine capital projects with a CAPEX greater than 750 million Reais. Francisco's earlier experience includes project management and mechanical engineering roles at Ferrous Resources do Brasil and Robert Bosch. Francisco holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and has furthered education at RWTH Aachen University.
