Samantha Zaluski is a GIS Technician currently employed at Utilities Kingston since July 2019, following a role as a GIS Intern with the City of Kingston from June 2018 to July 2019. With a strong foundation in geographic information systems developed through an Advanced Diploma in GIS from Nova Scotia Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Guelph, Samantha has experience in creating 3D models, managing enterprise databases, and producing online content using ArcGIS tools. Previous roles include a GIS Technician at Apple via Apex Systems, where analytical skills were utilized to handle geospatial data and resolve technical issues, in addition to earlier experience in environmental research and public education on water conservation with the Municipality of North Grenville. Samantha also worked as a Tour Guide and Office Manager for five summers at Jolly Breeze Tall Ship Whale Adventures, managing safety and customer engagement.
