Pete Schneider has a diverse and extensive work experience. Pete started their career in 2007 in the US Army, where they held roles such as Senior Manager and Headquarters Company Commander, responsible for aviation and support operations. Pete also served as the AH-64D Longbow Apache Helicopter Company Commander, overseeing training, professional development, safety, and morale of helicopter pilots and maintenance personnel. In 2010, they joined the United States Strategic Command as an Aide-de-Camp to the Commander, where they planned and executed official travel and liaised with senior military and civilian leaders. Pete later took on the role of Strategic Planner and was part of the team that rewrote the Department of Defense's global campaign plan for combating weapons of mass destruction. In 2014, Pete joined the United States Cyber Command as a Congressional Liaison, developing and implementing a congressional engagement strategy. Pete supported senior leaders in congressional engagements and provided analysis of legislation impacting the Command. In 2017, they joined the U.S. Army HQDA G-3/5/7 Strategic Leadership Division as a Program Director, overseeing policies related to personnel lifecycle management. Currently, Pete works at the United States Strategic Command as the Chief of the Information Operations Division.

Pete Schneider holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Administration from Purdue University Daniels School of Business. Pete also has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Creighton University. In addition, they have completed the Joint and Combined Warfighting School program at Joint Forces Staff College, National Defense University. Pete has also completed the Basic Strategic Art Program at The United States Army War College. Furthermore, they have completed the Command and General Staff Officers' Course Common Core at U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, specifically at the Fort Gordon Satellite Campus.
