Job description

About The Hiring Manager

Hi! I’m Olesya, Creative Lead at Motion. I’m a psychology nerd who loves a good gamble. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, I learned early on how to spot a need and develop a solution. By age 5, I was already starting small businesses. As I grew older, I became captivated by psychology — particularly how people make decisions, why they sometimes act irrationally, and what motivates them. This curiosity led me to marketing, where I’ve spent the last decade applying psychological insights to craft creative strategies that deliver real business results.

I’ve had the opportunity to work across multiple marketing channels, from creating viral TikTok videos to executing guerrilla marketing campaigns on Tinder. What excites me most about performance marketing is the ability to test, learn, and adapt quickly. It’s a fast-paced, high-learning field where creativity and data come together, and your curiosity is the only limit.

In my work, I approach content like art — its primary goal is to move people. The exciting part? It doesn’t always have to be “logical,” but it must be effective. Some of our most successful ads have broken traditional marketing principles, defied “best practices,” and might not make sense at first glance—but they work. That’s the magic I love to see!

I am the kind of person who hears “it’s impossible” and responds with “we’ll see”. And I truly value working with people who have the same approach.

The Role

I’m hiring a Creative Strategist to craft converting, memorable, and moving static ads for paid social media platforms.

  • You have a startup mentality. You’re happy to work with talented people, love a challenge and enjoy autonomous work. You are organized, detail-oriented, but you know when to move quickly and avoid getting bogged down in perfection.

  • You have strong copywriting skills. You know how to write persuasive copy that resonates with the audience. You understand the psychology behind consumer behavior—why people buy and how to influence those decisions through words.

  • Must-have's:

    • Native level of English language and excellent grammar
    • You’re always scrolling social media and know all the latest trends and news in the content world
    • Have experience creating social media ads
    • Basic Design skills: ability to use Canva/Figma to create static ads
  • 2+ years of experience working in Performance Marketing on the creative side.

    • Bonus points: experience working in an advertising agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research & Idea Generation: Conduct continuous market research to generate fresh ideas, new angles, and formats. Be an idea machine for copy.
  • Brief Construction: Craft detailed, hypothesis-led briefs for static ad batches. Each batch will test different hypotheses and concepts.
  • Static Ad Creation: Use Canva or Figma to create static ads for Meta (Facebook and Instagram) based on the briefs. You’ll create 30-50 static concepts each week, using internal tools to streamline the process.
  • Data Analysis: Once your ads have been tested, use the insights to inform the next batch and optimize the creative strategy.

Conditions:

  • Compensation:

    • Starting at USD$48k-60k/year.
    • Opportunities for promotion and career growth.
  • People:

    • Join a world-class team working towards building a unicorn.
    • Enthusiasm and transparency are our core values.
  • Freedom:

    • Fully remote - work from anywhere.
    • Flexible working hours. We have deadlines to meet, but you control your schedule.
