Marcy Schooley has served as a Special Education Teacher at USD 379 since August 1983, focusing on evidence-based instruction for second and third grade students with special needs at Lincoln Elementary. In addition to direct teaching, Marcy collaborates with special education providers, parents, and administrators to enhance learning opportunities within the Twin Lakes Educational Cooperative. Marcy has been involved in various leadership roles, including participation in the District Leadership Team and the Lincoln Elementary Redesign Team, as well as serving on the Autism Interdisciplinary Team at The University of Kansas. Further contributions include roles with the Clay County Education Association and the Dynamic Learning Maps Alternate Assessment System Consortium. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Special Education from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Northwest Missouri State University, among other studies at Baker University and Utah State University.
