Carolyn Mansfield duPont has a long history of working in the environmental and sustainability sector. In 2005, they began their career as an intern at the Earthwatch Institute. Carolyn then interned at the Foundation for Sustainable Development in 2006. In 2007, they were a Media Assistant at the Sierra Club. In 2008, they were a Community Engagement Associate at Bright Green Talent. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Manager at Monitor 360. In 2014, they were an MBA Intern at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In 2015, they were a Summer Associate in Sustainable Infrastructure at Encourage Capital. In 2016, they were an Investment Associate at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Director at Quantified Ventures LLC. Finally, since 2019, they have been the Chief Operating Officer, Head of Growth & Operations, and Director of Growth & Partnerships at Upstream Tech.
Carolyn Mansfield duPont has a diverse educational background. Carolyn earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the MIT Sloan School of Management, a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a BA with Distinction from Stanford University, where they studied Anthropological Sciences and Spanish Language. In 2006, they obtained an Outdoor Educator certification from NOLS in Alaska. Carolyn also attended Middlesex School. Additionally, they hold a Sustainability Certificate from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
