Kate Porter has over 25 years of experience in library management. Kate started their career at Washington-Centerville Public Library in 1993, where they served as a Public Services Team Leader until 1998. In 1998, they joined the Upper Arlington Public Library as a Circulation Manager. Kate later became the Media Services Manager in 2003 and was promoted to Assistant Director in 2006, a role they currently hold.
Kate Porter began their education at Wittenberg University from 1986 to 1990, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Kate then pursued a Master's degree in History at the University of Delaware from 1990 to 1992. Later on, they enrolled in Kent State University from 1995 to 1999, where they completed their Master of Library Science degree with a specialization in Library Science.
