Peter Adams is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in operations, clinical research, and education. Currently serving as the Director of Operations for Surgical Services at UPMC, Peter leads a surgical scheduling team while improving operational efficiency and reducing booking issues significantly. Previous roles include Administrative Fellow at UPMC, Assistant Chief at Foxwall Emergency Medical Services, and Adjunct Instructor at the Community College of Allegheny County. In addition to a rich clinical background at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Peter has pioneered remote enrollment processes for COVID-19 research and successfully managed multi-center clinical trials. Peter holds multiple degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, including an MBA and a Master's in Health Administration, alongside ongoing certifications in health services management and leadership.
