Alexandra Kelly brings over a decade of business development experience within the art market to UOVO. Ms. Kelly spent ten years at Sotheby’s in the Trusts & Estates and Global Fine Arts divisions, and most recently served as a Vice President of Business Development. At the auction house, Ms. Kelly was responsible for driving transactions, inclusive of buying and selling at auction and through private treaty, and serving as a primary contact for private clients, professional fiduciaries, art advisors, and family offices.
During her time at Sotheby’s, Ms. Kelly was instrumental in securing many important collections and estates for sale including The Estate of John Richardson, The Estate of Irvin Levy, The Collection of Martin and Barbara Zweig, The Estate of Fred Leighton, The Estate of Catherine Auchincloss, and The Collection of Bernard and Josephine Chaus.
As Vice President of Business Development at UOVO, Ms. Kelly spearheads the company’s leasing strategy and manages a team of business development professionals. Other key areas of focus include accelerating UOVO’s growth throughout the New York region and across the country and representing the company as a brand ambassador.
Ms. Kelly graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in History. Ms. Kelly has been a recurring guest lecturer at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art, a panelist for the Careers in Arts Program at the University of Pennsylvania, and is certified in Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.
