Matthew Vail has extensive experience in the benefits operations sector, having worked at Unum since March 2007, where roles included Director of Benefit Operations for Long-Term Disability (LTD), Director of Special Benefits for LTD Benefit Operations, and LTD Benefits Director for the Northeast Region. Prior to that, Matthew served as a Psych Tech III at Spring Harbor Hospital from November 2004 to March 2007, focusing on skills training for adolescent patients. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Rehabilitation from Assumption University, earned between 2002 and 2006.
