Jay Trask has extensive experience in archival services and library operations, including roles such as Head of Archival Services / Associate Professor at the University of Northern Colorado and University Archivist at Colorado State University. Jay also served as a board member for the Colorado Historical Records Advisory Board and the University of Northern Colorado. Throughout their career, Jay has been responsible for managing, processing, and preserving various archival collections, as well as assisting researchers and promoting access to historical resources through outreach activities.
Jay Trask has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Colorado State University, earned between 1992-1998. Following this, Jay obtained a Master of Arts in History from Colorado State University between 1999-2001. Later, Jay pursued a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee between 2005-2008, specializing in Library and Information Science. Additionally, Jay spent a year studying Philosophy at Lancaster University from 1994-1995.
