Michele Ceccarelli is a distinguished academic and researcher specializing in computational oncology and quantitative biology. Currently serving as a Professor and leading the Computational Oncology program at the University of Miami Health System's Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center since May 2023, Michele also holds the position of Director of the PhD program in Computational and Quantitative Biology at the University of Naples Federico II. Previous experience includes a role as Director of Computational Biology at AbbVie, focusing on machine learning and data science tools for immuno-oncology therapies, and serving as Research Director at the Qatar Computing Research Institute. Michele's academic career began at the University of Sannio, where professorship spanned over two decades, complemented by early research as a PostDoc scientist at the National Research Council of Italy. Education was completed at Università degli Studi di Salerno.
