Bilal Tahir is an experienced radiologist currently serving as an Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology & Imaging Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine since July 2004. Formerly an Assistant Professor in the same department, Bilal specializes in Abdominal Imaging and Body Interventions. In addition to academic roles, Bilal Tahir holds the positions of Geographic Chief of Radiology and Director of Abdominal Imaging & Body Interventions at Eskenazi Health since July 2011. Bilal also practices as a Staff Radiologist at Indiana University Health and Ball Memorial Hospital. Earlier experience includes staff radiology at the VA Medical Center and a residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. Bilal Tahir earned an MD in Medicine from The University of Texas Medical Branch and a BS in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University.
