David Gilbert is an experienced financial services professional with a strong background in sales and service management. Currently serving as General Manager for both Unity Bank Ltd. and Maritime Mining & Power Credit Union since 2018 and April 2016 respectively, David oversees operations in a diverse credit union that manages $880 million in assets and serves approximately 36,000 members across Australia. Previously, David held the position of General Manager/CEO at Shell Employees' Credit Union from 1999 to 2016 and worked as Finance Manager for TAB staff and Employees' Credit Union in the 1990s. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Accounting from Western Sydney University.
