Richard Laidlaw is an experienced HR executive with a diverse background in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Executive Director of People & Assurance at Uniting Communities since January 2022, Richard previously held significant positions such as Global Head of HR at Bravura Solutions, where responsibilities included developing a comprehensive HR strategy for a global team. Richard’s career also includes roles as People and Culture Director at Wotton + Kearney, Talent and Succession Planning Manager at Woolworths Limited, and General Manager HR at Stockland. Richard’s foundational experience in vocational education began with the NSW Department of Education and Communities and was further enhanced by a Doctor of Education degree from UNSW and a Master of Education from UTS Sydney.
