Maíra Tito

Intern At The Legal Office at United Nations Office at Nairobi

Maíra Tito has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Maíra has interned at the Legal Office of the United Nations Office at Nairobi in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Lecturer and Researcher at Green Lab since 2019. From 2011 to 2020, Maíra served as a Lawyer at Companhia Municipal De Transito E Urbanizacao-Cmtu-Ld. In 2013, they held the position of Managing Director at Instituto de Pesquisa e Planejamento Urbano de Londrina. Additionally, they worked as a Professor at UEL - Universidade Estadual de Londrina from 2015 to 2016. Prior to these roles, they had experience as a Legal Advisor at Secretaria de Estado da Ciência, Tecnologia e Ensino Superior do Paraná from 2009 to 2011 and as a Manager Assistant and Legal Advisor at MDS - Ministério do Desenvolvimento Social e Combate à Fome from 2005 to 2007. In 2006, Maíra also worked as a Consultant at FAO.

Maíra Tito's education history begins in 1997, when they attended UEL - Universidade Estadual de Londrina, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Law. Maíra studied at this institution until 2002.

After a break, Maíra returned to their education in 2006 at Universidade Católica de Brasília. Here, they pursued a Master's degree in International Law, completing their studies in 2009.

In 2013, Maíra enrolled at FESPSP - Fundação Escola de Sociologia e Politica de São Paulo, where they pursued a Master of Public Administration - MPA. Maíra specialized in Public Management and Policies during their studies, which lasted from 2013 to 2014.

Currently, Maíra is involved in furthering their education at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where they are pursuing a PhD in Law. Maíra started their doctoral studies in 2018 and is expected to complete their degree in 2022.
