Janet O'Callaghan has extensive experience in information management and humanitarian response, currently serving as Head of Field Information Support at the United Nations OCHA since October 2011. Janet has held various leadership roles, including Head of Information Management Unit and Head of Field Information Support Section at UNOCHA, contributing significantly to humanitarian efforts in multiple regions including Pakistan and the Asia Pacific. Additionally, Janet has been actively involved as a Volunteer with the American Red Cross in Mercer County Ohio, focusing on disaster response and government liaison activities. Previous roles include serving as an Information Management Officer for UNICEF in Haiti and working on consultancy projects for the UN. Janet holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
