Olga Arefeva is a seasoned professional in the field of human rights, currently serving as a Human Rights Officer with the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine since October 2018, focusing on civilian protection and advocacy for conflict victims. Olga's previous experience includes roles as an Associate Human Rights Officer and Programme Assistant, where responsibilities involved the implementation of human rights programs in Belarus. At Belarusian State University, Olga worked as a Senior Lecturer on international law, organizing seminars and managing student coursework. Additionally, Olga held various positions at the Belarusian Red Cross Society, including Project Manager and Head Of Organizational Development Department, leading initiatives in organizational development and international humanitarian law dissemination. Olga holds a Master's degree in Humanitarian Affairs from the University of York and a Bachelor's degree in International Law from Belarusian State University.
