Bouchra Elias is a Human Rights Officer at the United Nations Human Rights since February 2023, focusing on promoting human rights education in South-West Asia and the Arab Region. Previously, Bouchra served as an Assistant Analyst/Investigator at the United Nations from October 2018 to October 2021, conducting research on serious breaches of international law. Bouchra holds a Master's degree in Humanitarian Action from CERAH and has extensive experience in community development, having worked with World Vision as a Development Facilitator and coordinated projects for Mouvement Sociale related to youth in conflict with the law. Bouchra has also held teaching roles in public schools and possesses a Teaching Diploma in Education from the University of Balamand.
