Ahreum Lee is a seasoned professional in international law and human rights, currently serving as a Human Rights Officer at the United Nations Human Rights since July 2014, focusing on the human rights to safe drinking water and sanitation, and previously supporting various Special Rapporteurs. Prior experience includes positions as an Associate Legal Officer in the Office of Legal Affairs for both the Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea and the International Trade Law Division at the United Nations from November 2009 to March 2013, as well as a Case Manager at the World Intellectual Property Organization from June 2006 to May 2007. Educational qualifications include a PhD in International Law from the Geneva Graduate Institute, an LLM from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, a Master's in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, and an LLB from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, complemented by an exchange program at The Australian National University.
