Joanna Knoblauch possesses extensive experience in science education, currently serving as a High School Science Teacher and Lead Teacher at Union County Vocational-Technical Schools since September 2018, specializing in AP Environmental Science and sustainable science curricula. Prior roles include teaching biology and Advanced Placement environmental science at Jersey City Public Schools, where Joanna also coordinated the Science Department and mentored fellow educators. Academic contributions include teaching zoology as an Adjunct Professor at Kean University. Fieldwork includes roles as a Biological Science Technician and Park Ranger with the National Park Service, along with volunteer positions focused on amphibian and turtle research. Joanna holds a Master of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from New Jersey City University.
